Desired Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or license (state credentials required)
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
- Experience with diverse student populations across different grade levels
- Strong skills in assessment, counseling, crisis intervention, and report writing
- Ability to provide individualized and evidence-based recommendations
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Organizational talent and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results for students referred for evaluation
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop educational and behavioral strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings and assist in the creation of student support plans
- Deliver counseling and intervention services to students as needed
- Support crisis response efforts, providing immediate guidance to staff and students
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation for all required reports and records
- Promote positive behavioral supports and mental health awareness within the school environment
