School Psychologist | Covington, Georgia

Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology
- Valid state certification or ability to obtain appropriate credentials
- Experience with special education evaluations and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with a range of standardized assessment tools
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Organizational and time management skills to balance multiple caseloads
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results for students referred for services
- Participate in eligibility meetings, IEP meetings, and other student-focused conferences
- Develop evidence-based interventions tailored to individual student needs
- Provide consultation and support to educators and families around behavioral, academic, and emotional concerns
- Help design and monitor progress on student intervention plans
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Contribute to a school climate that values student diversity and inclusion
