Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or certification in School Psychology
- Experience with K-12 student populations
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Ability to interpret psychological and educational evaluations
- Collaborative approach to working within multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students' intellectual, academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention plans and support student success
- Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
- Deliver recommendations for individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Support the implementation of school-wide prevention and intervention programs
- Participate in eligibility determination meetings and contribute to best practices for student accommodations
- Maintain accurate, confidential records and documentation
- Offer training and guidance to staff and family members related to students’ behavioral and academic challenges
