As a vital part of the school community, you’ll have the unique opportunity to serve approximately five campuses in either South or West Houston, providing specialized expertise and care to diverse K-12 student populations.
Ideal candidates possess an active Texas School Psychologist license or credential and have demonstrated experience working in school settings. You’ll collaborate onsite with dedicated educators, staff, and families to ensure student success, with possible flexibility for report writing from home. Your knowledge, compassion, and insight will help drive positive outcomes for students across several campuses.
Role Requirements:
- Valid Texas School Psychologist licensure/credential (with snapshot and redacted report upon submission)
- Proven, recent experience working in school-based environments
- Commitment to onsite services; hybrid report writing may be considered
- Full-time availability (37.5 hours/week)
- Reliable transportation to travel between campuses as required
- Ability to complete and pay for mandatory district fingerprinting within three days of contract signing
- Professional references and a current resume highlighting school-based experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a range of psychological services and assessments across multiple schools
- Conduct evaluations and collaborate with educational teams to support student needs
- Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and communicate effectively with faculty and families
- Develop intervention plans and monitor students’ progress
Contract Details:
- Assignment runs July 30, 2026, through May 28, 2027
