School Psychologist - Davis, California

Desired skills and experience:
- Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid and current license or credential as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience in a K-12 school setting preferred
- Proficient in psychoeducational assessments, report-writing, and interpreting data
- Strong knowledge of special education law, IEPs, and RTI/MTSS processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with students, staff, and families
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Flexible, organized, and compassionate approach to student support
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations, including cognitive, academic, social-emotional, and behavioral assessments
- Interpret assessment results and prepare clear, informative reports
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and parents to improve student outcomes
- Lead and participate in IEP meetings and eligibility determinations
- Provide direct and consultative services for behavioral intervention, crisis response, and mental health support
- Assist in the development and monitoring of individualized education and intervention plans
- Contribute to a positive school climate by supporting staff and promoting student well-being
