Key Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan School Psychologist certification required
- Experience in administering assessments and evaluations in K-12 school settings
- Strong counseling and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and families
- Understanding of current laws and best practices in special education
- Flexible to work full-time (preferred) or part-time hours
- Ability to travel to multiple school sites within the district
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform psychological assessments and report findings
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor educational plans
- Deliver direct counseling services to students as needed
- Participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings, consultations, and eligibility determinations
- Provide crisis intervention and consultation services
- Support positive behavioral interventions and progress monitoring
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records
