School Psychologist in Denver, CO

This full-time, onsite contract role supports a range of age groups—from early childhood to high school—matching dedicated professionals with assignments based on district needs and your interests.
Key Experience & Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of prior experience as a School Psychologist within an educational setting is required
- Master’s, Specialist, or Doctorate degree in School Psychology
- Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Service Provider License endorsement in School Psychology
- Strong student assessment abilities and data-driven intervention skills
- Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and collaborative teaming skills
- Demonstrated ability to maintain composure and provide effective support in crisis situations
- Proven capacity for critical thinking, efficient multitasking, and stakeholder engagement across diverse backgrounds
- Solid computer technology proficiency
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct counseling (individual and group) to special education students in accordance with IEP goals
- Design and facilitate multi-tiered interventions addressing academic, social-emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs
- Provide comprehensive crisis management, including suicide risk and threat assessments
- Conduct cognitive, social, emotional, behavioral, and adaptive skills evaluations; interpret and document reports and develop IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, families, and community partners to ensure holistic student support
- Engage in IEP, MTSS, behavioral health, and staff meetings; participate in professional development and community learning
- Serve as a consultant for behavioral and academic interventions and general education classroom support
- Assist in connecting families with essential community resources
