Caseload responsibilities are split between two locations with a manageable group of 60 students, ensuring a chance to provide individualized attention and robust interventions.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree or higher in Psychology or Educational Psychology (required)
- Active, valid state licensure/certificate for School Psychology (in Illinois, PEL with School Psychologist Endorsement required)
- Minimum 2 years of school-based experience
- Demonstrated commitment to organizational core values and student-centered success
- Persistent commitment to fostering positive outcomes for every student
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and support students’ academic and social-emotional needs, identifying barriers to learning and appropriate interventions
- Collaborate actively on school-based and network teams such as SPED, 504, and MTSS, ensuring accurate identification, evaluation, and compliance with timelines
- Lead Tier 3 interventions, monitor scholar progress, and serve as a consultant for MTSS systems
- Prepare and present reports for IEP, 504, and eligibility meetings; request/coordinate relevant information from external agencies as necessary
- Monitor and document direct services, collaboration, and progress data while ensuring confidentiality
- Stay current on best practices, provide professional development, and share expertise with colleagues and stakeholders
- Maintain effective communication with parents, staff, and team members
