School Psychologist | Des Plaines, Illinois

Key Qualifications:
- Valid PEL and Illinois School Psychologist License required
- Experience with psychoeducational, re-evaluation, and initial evaluations
- Bilingual skills are appreciated, but not mandatory
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Commitment to fostering positive student outcomes
- For elementary opening: onsite interview is preferred
- For middle school opening: virtual interviews are also accepted
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations for students
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to support academic and social-emotional development
- Provide valuable input in IEP meetings and help guide appropriate interventions
- Collaborate effectively with existing OT staff, other school psychologists, and special education professionals
- Maintain thorough, organized documentation and reports
- Support teachers and administrators through consultation and ongoing communication
- Engage with families to explain evaluation results and recommend supports as needed
