What you’ll bring:
- Valid Michigan School Psychologist License (required)
- Experience in providing school-based assessments, direct student support, and psychological testing
- Strong familiarity with developing, implementing, and participating in IEP meetings
- Effective communication skills for consultations with multidisciplinary teams, students, and parents
- High degree of organization and attention to detail for re-evaluations and eligibility determinations
Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and psychological testing for students referred for evaluation
- Provide direct services to students, supporting their emotional and academic needs
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, eligibility meetings, and re-evaluation conferences
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop effective interventions and accommodations
- Maintain thorough and timely records in accordance with school protocols and legal requirements
