Key Qualifications:
- Active Michigan School Psychologist License required
- Previous experience or strong understanding of direct services, student assessments, and re-evaluations in K-12 settings
- Proficient with IEP development, participation in eligibility meetings, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong interpersonal communication skills to engage with students, staff, and families
- Adaptability to respond to diverse student needs in a dynamic school environment
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct psychological services and interventions to students
- Conduct assessments and testing to evaluate student cognitive, academic, social, and emotional development
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, eligibility meetings, and periodic re-evaluations
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to create plans supporting student achievement and well-being
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records, progress notes, and required documentation
- Provide consultation and recommendations to school teams around student learning and behavioral support
