Beginning August 25, 2026, and continuing through June 11, 2027, you’ll play a crucial role in enhancing the learning environment and student well-being.
Your role will cover a variety of schools within the district, with both full-time and part-time schedules considered (though full-time is preferred). Day-to-day, you will utilize your expertise in psychological testing, assessment, and counseling, working with diverse age groups to provide comprehensive support and guidance.
Qualifications:
- Current Michigan School Psychologist certification
- Prior experience or strong interest in school-based psychological services
- Skilled in conducting assessments, writing reports, and delivering interventions
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Compassionate and adaptable in a dynamic educational setting
Primary Responsibilities:
- Complete psychoeducational evaluations to inform special education eligibility
- Provide individual and small-group counseling and crisis intervention
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators on student support plans
- Offer consultation and training to staff on behavioral and academic interventions
- Contribute to the development of positive, inclusive learning environments
