You’ll work closely with educators and support students in grades PreK through 12, providing expertise and compassionate care across a diverse caseload.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Michigan School Psychologist Certification required
- Experience working in a school environment (PreK-12 preferred)
- Expertise in conducting psychological and educational evaluations
- Knowledge of MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports)
- Strong collaboration skills for partnering with teachers and staff
- Ability to offer behavioral interventions and support
- Background in providing mental health counseling to youth is advantageous
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations
- Collaborate regularly with teachers to develop effective interventions
- Support and participate in the MTSS process to enhance student outcomes
- Deliver targeted behavior support strategies for individual students
- Provide mental health counseling as needed, fostering student emotional well-being
- Contribute to team meetings and help create positive, inclusive learning environments
- Document services and communicate progress to stakeholders as appropriate
