Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in School Psychology or a related field (required)
- Valid Michigan School Psychologist licensure (required)
- Experience providing psychological services to students in elementary, middle, and high school settings
- Familiarity with multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and special education compliance
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Compassionate approach to supporting diverse student populations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual assessments and evaluations for students referred for special education and intervention services
- Deliver counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support as needed
- Develop and implement personalized strategies to support students’ social-emotional well-being
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to provide recommendations and best practices for student achievement
- Actively participate in multidisciplinary teams, including IEP and 504 plan meetings
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with regulations
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive school climate
