Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in School Psychology or a closely related field (required)
- Valid Michigan licensure/certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with students at elementary, middle, and/or high school levels
- Strong consultation, assessment, and counseling skills
- Ability to interpret data and develop evidence-based interventions
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and cultural competence
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for referred students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) and behavioral interventions
- Support crisis prevention and response, including risk assessments as needed
- Provide direct counseling services and group interventions to address behavioral or emotional concerns
- Participate in student support and multidisciplinary teams, offering expertise in identification and service planning
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to promote a positive, inclusive school climate
