Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with K-12 populations, with strong understanding of adolescent developmental needs
- Proficiency in conducting evaluations, assessments, and developing intervention strategies
- Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to ethical, evidence-based practices
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations for students, particularly at the secondary level
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other professionals to develop and implement support plans
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to eligibility determinations
- Provide direct or consultative services to students facing academic, behavioral, or social-emotional challenges
- Offer crisis intervention and support as needed within the school community
- Facilitate professional development and consult on best practices for classroom accommodations and interventions
