Step into a valuable substitute position as a Long-Term School Psychologist, where your expertise will help students thrive and ensure continuity of care. This assignment begins immediately and spans four weeks, offering you the chance to work in both an elementary and middle school setting. With a manageable caseload of about 30 cases across grades K–8, you’ll provide essential psychological services and collaborate closely with a dedicated, multidisciplinary team.
Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure (or eligibility for certification)
- Experience supporting K–8 students within a school environment
- Strong understanding of Evaluation Team Reports (ETR) processes and facilitation
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Comfort adapting to shared placements and working with diverse teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve as the lead facilitator for ETR meetings, ensuring clear communication and adherence to guidelines
- Conduct evaluations and assessments for students referred for services
- Interpret assessment data and provide meaningful recommendations to staff and families
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other specialists to create student-focused plans
- Share workload with other psychologists on site; you will not be the only provider
