Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid School Psychologist certification in the state of Georgia
- Experience conducting psychological assessments and developing intervention plans
- Strong knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and state special education regulations
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Prior experience in a K-12 educational setting preferred
Responsibilities:
- Complete comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and interpret results for eligibility meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to design and implement targeted interventions
- Support special education teams with data-driven recommendations and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and recommendations as needed to support student well-being
- Foster positive relationships to encourage student growth and advocate effectively for their needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
