Qualifications & Requirements:
- Valid Connecticut School Psychologist license (CT PSYCH)
- Experience conducting comprehensive psychoeducational and eligibility evaluations in a school setting
- Familiarity with high school-aged students and their unique developmental needs
- Strong communication and report-writing abilities
- Capable of collaborating with teachers, administrators, and special education teams
- Ability to manage workflows efficiently with a focus on quality and timelines
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations for high school students as assigned
- Prepare detailed assessment reports based on findings
- Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings as a subject matter expert on evaluation results
- Collaborate with other school professionals to interpret data and make recommendations
- Maintain organized documentation and respect student confidentiality at all times
This role is Monday through Friday from 7 am to 2:30 pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch period, ensuring your evenings are free for personal time or other commitments. The assignment runs ASAP through June, aligning with the current academic calendar. Your focus will be solely on providing evaluation services—no counseling required—allowing you to specialize in assessment and data-driven recommendations.
