School Psychologist – 2026–2027 School Year
We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative School Psychologist to join a supportive school team for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time, in-person position is located in Cahokia, IL and provides an opportunity to support students through comprehensive evaluations, consultation, collaboration, and participation in the special education process.
The ideal candidate will work closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote students' academic, social-emotional, and behavioral success in a collaborative, student-centered environment.
Position Details
Pay: $50–$55/hour (based on experience)
Location: Cahokia, IL
Schedule: Full-Time, In-Person
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (5 days/week)
Student Age Range: TBD
School Year Dates: August 10, 2026 – May 28, 2027
Primary Responsibilities
Conduct initial and reevaluation psychoeducational assessments
Complete comprehensive evaluation reports and required documentation
Participate in eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers
Provide consultation regarding academic, behavioral, and social-emotional concerns
Support special education compliance and evaluation timelines
Assist with intervention planning, progress monitoring, and data review
Promote positive student outcomes through collaborative problem-solving
Qualifications
Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement (required)
Candidates must hold an active Illinois PEL to be considered for an interview
Master's, Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
Strong assessment, report writing, and consultation skills
Previous school-based experience preferred
