You’ll be key in conducting thorough evaluations and assessments, supporting students’ socio-emotional and academic growth, and participating in the development of individualized intervention strategies. Qualifications & Experience:
- Current licensure as a School Psychologist in South Carolina (SC)
- Experience or certification working in K-12 settings (elementary, middle, and high school)
- Proven ability to conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Expertise in developing intervention plans and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological and psycho-educational assessments for students in grades K-12
- Support the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Section 504 plans
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators regarding student needs
- Deliver recommendations and interventions to help students thrive academically and emotionally
- Maintain clear, timely documentation and comply with all state and district requirements
- Offer crisis intervention and contribute to a positive, safe school climate
