School Psychologist in Eden Prairie, MN
Support student success as a full-time School Psychologist working directly across a diverse K-12 district in the Eden Prairie, MN area. This on-site, contract position runs from as soon as possible through the end of the academic year—an excellent opportunity to make an immediate, lasting impact within a welcoming educational setting.
In this role, you’ll collaborate with educators, families, and administrators to provide comprehensive psychological services aimed at enhancing students’ academic achievement, emotional well-being, and social development.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a School Psychologist in Minnesota
- Experience working within K-12 settings preferred
- Proficiency in conducting evaluations, developing individualized interventions, and providing consultation services
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive environments for all students
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psycho-educational assessments to help inform special education eligibility and student support plans
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents regarding effective strategies and interventions
- Deliver crisis intervention, counseling, and behavioral support as needed
- Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) teams
- Stay abreast of best practices and comply with all relevant federal and state laws
- Support the development and implementation of positive behavioral interventions and supports (PBIS)
- Maintain detailed, confidential records in accordance with district policies
