Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Advanced degree in Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or related discipline.
- Moderate background in a school-based or relevant behavioral role.
- Valid special education teaching license, school social worker license, or school psychologist license issued by the Professional Education Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB), or Nationally Board Certified Behavior Analyst Certification (or in process).
- Nonviolent crisis intervention training required.
- Opportunity available to teachers experienced with Emotional Behavioral Disorder or Autism Spectrum Disorder, as well as credentialed BCBA or Behavioral Analysts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough behavioral assessments and clearly communicate analytic findings to parents, school teams, and community partners.
- Collaborate closely with teaching staff, school psychologists, and social workers to develop targeted Social Learning Profiles, execute Functional Behavioral Assessments, and craft effective Behavior Intervention Plans.
- Create and implement data collection systems, rigorously monitor progress, analyze intervention effectiveness, and recommend plan adjustments to better support student development.
