Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or a closely related field
- Moderate experience in educational or behavioral settings
- Completion of nonviolent crisis intervention training
- Valid special education teaching license, school social worker license, or school psychologist license from PELSB, OR Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification, or currently in the certification process
- Emotional Behavioral Disorder Teachers or Autism Spectrum Disorder Teachers with Behavior Specialist/Interventionist experience are encouraged to apply
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough behavioral assessments; communicate findings and recommendations to parents, staff, and related community professionals
- Collaborate with school psychologists, teachers, and social workers on Social Learning Profiles, Functional Behavioral Assessments, and Behavior Intervention Plans
- Develop practical data collection systems for monitoring student progress, analyze data, and suggest modifications to intervention plans to enhance student outcomes
