Key Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or a relevant field with moderate related experience
- Valid licensure: special education teaching license, school social worker license, or school psychologist license from the Professional Education Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB), or BCBA certification (or in progress)
- Trained in nonviolent crisis intervention strategies
- Experience as an Emotional Behavioral Disorder Teacher, Autism Spectrum Disorder Teacher with behavior specialist/interventionist background, BCBA, or Behavioral Analyst
Role Overview:
- Conduct behavioral assessments and provide analyses to parents, school teams, and community providers
- Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, and social workers to assist with Social Learning Profiles, Functional Behavioral Assessments, and the development of Behavior Intervention Plans
- Design effective data collection systems, monitor data, assess intervention plan impact, and make recommendations for improvement
- Support classroom strategies to enhance student success and foster a positive school environment
Available Openings:
- Two full-year Behavior Specialist positions (2.0 FTE)
- Two short-term leave coverage positions (1.0 FTE each) with flexibility for possible extension
