Qualifications/Desired Skills:
- Master's or specialist-level degree in School Psychology
- Current Illinois PEL (Professional Educator License) with a School Psychologist endorsement
- Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills for elementary students
- Experience with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) models
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to adapt to changing student needs and school environments
- Previous experience working with elementary school caseloads preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret data for elementary-aged students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 plans as a valued team member
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success and wellbeing
- Provide direct intervention and counseling to students, addressing social-emotional or behavioral concerns
- Participate in multidisciplinary and eligibility meetings, offering expert recommendations
- Deliver professional development and guidance to staff regarding behavioral and mental health topics
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment where all students can thrive
