This contract opportunity spans the 2026-2027 academic year, beginning August 11th and concluding May 26th (with potential extensions for emergency days). You'll enjoy a consistent 40-hour workweek, collaborating with a dedicated educational team while supporting students from Early Childhood through 4th grade.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology required
- Valid state licensure and credentials as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience working with elementary-aged children preferred
- Strong knowledge of evaluation, assessment, and response-to-intervention procedures
- Excellent communication, consultation, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt services to meet a range of student needs
Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group assessments to identify student strengths and needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student learning and emotional well-being
- Offer consultative support and recommendations for academic and behavioral interventions
- Maintain thorough, compliant documentation and case records
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and staff development sessions
