You’ll work onsite and collaborate with educators and families to support student well-being and learning, with hybrid days considered for the right candidate. Key Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement
- Experience or training as a School Psychologist within a school setting
- Able to assess and provide interventions for a range of academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Comfortable supporting students from PreK through 8th grade (exact assignment and caseload to be determined)
- Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred
- Confident communicator who works well alongside teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and develop individualized plans
- Collaborate on Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) processes
- Provide consultation to staff and families regarding student needs and accommodations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to eligibility decisions
- Implement preventative and crisis-intervention strategies as needed
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation and uphold all district and state standards
