Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or license in South Carolina
- Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
- Experience conducting assessments, developing intervention plans, and supporting Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong understanding of psychological testing, report writing, and data-driven decision making
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to fostering safe, inclusive learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students
- Develop, implement, and monitor effective intervention strategies
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families on student support plans
- Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and contribute expertise on behavioral and academic interventions
- Support crisis interventions and promote social-emotional learning
- Maintain accurate, confidential student records in compliance with state and federal regulations
