Make a difference supporting students’ success as a dedicated school psychologist in a contract role for the upcoming academic year. This is a full-time, onsite position located near Elgin, SC, beginning August and continuing through the end of May. The ideal candidate is committed, collaborative, and passionate about fostering a positive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid certification and licensure as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but all qualified candidates considered
- Strong assessment, intervention, and consultative skills
- Proven ability to work effectively with students, staff, and families
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and educational evaluations for students, including assessments and eligibility determinations
- Develop and participate in IEP/504 plan meetings as a collaborative team member
- Provide direct counseling and intervention services to support student social, emotional, and academic development
- Consult with educators, administrators, and parents to implement evidence-based interventions and strategies
- Maintain compliant and timely documentation of services rendered and evaluations completed
- Participate actively in problem-solving and multi-disciplinary teams within the school community
