This full-time position is focused exclusively on student evaluations, making it a great opportunity for a school psychologist who enjoys assessment and collaborating with school teams to support student success.
Position Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations
- Complete initial and reevaluation assessments
- Interpret evaluation results and prepare written reports
- Participate in eligibility determination and IEP meetings as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Provide assessment-based recommendations and support educational planning
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Qualifications
- Master's, specialist, or doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Valid Connecticut School Psychologist certification or eligibility
- School-based experience preferred
- Strong assessment, report-writing, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a high school setting
