Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity providing vital psychological support to students across two school sites in the Denver area. As a full-time provider, you’ll work Monday through Friday, dedicating your expertise to enriching the lives of students from early childhood through high school. Start dates are immediate and extend through late May 2027, offering stability and professional growth within a supportive educational environment.
What you’ll bring:
- Master’s, Specialist, or Doctorate in School Psychology
- Valid CDE Special Service Provider License with School Psychology endorsement
- Minimum of 3 years’ previous school-based experience required
- Proficient student assessment skills and strong knowledge of current practices in school psychology
- Excellent communication and collaborative abilities with families, teachers, administrators, and outside agencies
- Strong crisis management, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
- Deep commitment to working with students from diverse backgrounds
- Skilled in technology, data collection, and report writing
- Able to complete district background check and fingerprinting
What you’ll do:
- Deliver individual and group counseling services in line with IEP goals
- Design and implement behavioral, academic, and social/emotional interventions
- Conduct cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and adaptive assessments and report writing
- Actively participate in meetings (IEP, MTSS, professional development, staff)
- Provide crisis intervention, including risk/threat assessments, safety planning, and classroom support
- Serve as a consultant to families and staff; coordinate community resources as needed
- Offer psychoeducational training to both students and colleagues
