School Psychologist - Englewood, CO
Step into a dynamic school-based role serving elementary students as an onsite School Psychologist in a well-supported Colorado learning environment. This full-time opportunity runs from late September through mid-November and is ideal for those passionate about providing comprehensive psychological services while collaborating with educators and families. Desired Qualifications:
- Possession of or active application for a valid Professional Special Services License through the Colorado Department of Education
- Previous experience as a School Psychologist in an educational setting
- Outstanding communication and interview skills; ability to clearly articulate professional background and areas of expertise
- Energetic, vibrant, and positive interpersonal style suited for engaging with students, staff, and families
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 40 students, prioritizing assessments, interventions, and documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducation assessments and create individualized intervention plans
- Deliver counseling and intervention services for students with diverse needs
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and IEP teams to support student learning and wellbeing
- Maintain organized records, provide clear progress reports, and facilitate effective parent communication
- Contribute to the development and implementation of positive behavior support programs
