Multiple flexible leave coverage assignments are available, each offering rewarding work with students across elementary and middle school age groups.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s, Specialist, or Doctorate degree in School Psychology
- Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Service Provider License, School Psychology endorsement required
- Demonstrated experience in a school setting
- Proven assessment skills—cognitive, social, emotional, behavioral, and adaptive
- Proficient documentation and report writing abilities
- Effective interpersonal skills and collaborative teamwork with teachers, families, and agencies
- Comfort with technology and robust computer skills
- Strong communication, crisis management, and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience working with culturally diverse populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct counseling for students based on IEP goals in both group and individual settings
- Develop and implement interventions at the individual, group, and systems level to support academic and behavioral success
- Complete comprehensive assessments, interpret results, and author evaluation reports
- Provide crisis management, including suicide risk and threat assessments, and help develop safety plans
- Participate in IEP planning, manifestation hearings, and MTSS and behavioral health team meetings
- Document all services provided and maintain communication with external providers and community resources
- Offer staff development workshops, family psychoeducation, home/wellness visits, and consultation for teachers
Assignments start as soon as possible, with coverage duration and locations varying depending on the needs—options include elementary and middle schools, each with diverse and dynamic caseloads.
