Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology
- Valid California School Psychologist credential (PPS) or eligibility to obtain
- Preferred experience in assessments with preschool or early childhood populations
- Strong skills in assessment, report-writing, communication, and collaboration
- Proven ability to contribute effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Carry out comprehensive psychoeducational and developmental evaluations for preschool-aged students
- Participate in both initial assessments and reevaluations
- Interpret assessment data and generate detailed evaluation reports
- Attend and contribute to eligibility and IEP meetings
- Collaborate proactively with teachers, specialists, administrators, and families
- Offer informed recommendations and support strategies based on assessment findings
- Help identify suitable educational services and interventions
- Maintain documentation that adheres to district and state guidelines
