This opportunity allows you to champion the academic and social-emotional growth of students while collaborating closely with dedicated educators and families.
Ideal background and qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in Psychology or Educational Psychology required
- Active, valid State License with a PEL and School Psychologist Endorsement
- At least 2 years of school-based experience
- Demonstrated commitment to fostering student success and living core educational values
- Strong understanding of current best practices and evaluation tools in educational psychology
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality, compliance, and high standards of documentation
- Capable of building lasting relationships with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
In this position, you will:
- Use a proactive, child-centered approach to assess and support academic and social-emotional needs impacting learning
- Serve as a consultant for MTSS systems, lead Tier 3 interventions, and monitor progress
- Participate as an active member of SPED, 504, and MTSS teams, ensuring accurate screening, evaluation, and implementation of plans
- Uphold compliance with all regulations for special education, 504, and MTSS processes
- Prepare reports, attend meetings, and facilitate information requests from outside agencies when needed
- Maintain detailed records, collaborate with peers, and contribute professional insights through PD sessions
- Act as a liaison, sharing expertise in child development and learning disorders with staff, parents, and stakeholders
- Manage a caseload of 60 students across two K-8 locations, working 37.5 hours per week
