This contract in-person role spans two supportive school communities and provides the opportunity to collaborate with educational professionals while shaping kids’ academic and social-emotional growth.

Bring your commitment to students’ success and join a vibrant, student-centered environment. You’ll help identify and advocate for student needs, support multidisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance in special education, 504, and MTSS processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Psychology or Educational Psychology
  • Current and valid State of Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist Endorsement
  • At least 2 years of school-based psychology experience
  • Proven ability to uphold and embody organizational core values
  • Strong commitment to long-term academic and emotional success of diverse learners

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, identify, and support students with academic and social-emotional needs that impact classroom learning and peer relationships
  • Actively participate as a valued member of school teams (SPED, 504, MTSS), working to ensure proper evaluations and interventions are implemented
  • Lead Tier 3 intervention efforts, provide data-driven progress monitoring, and consult on MTSS system development
  • Maintain up-to-date records, documentation, and collaborate closely with staff and families, ensuring confidentiality and compliance at all times
  • Prepare presentations and reports for eligibility, annual, and review meetings within set timelines
  • Serve as an expert resource on child development and learning disorders, communicating with stakeholders and providing professional development as needed
  • Stay current on best practices and actively engage in ongoing school and network meetings

Manage a manageable caseload of 60 students across two dynamic locations, working 37.5 hours per week in enriching K-8 environments.
