School Psychologist | Fairfield, Connecticut
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a School Psychologist, playing a pivotal role in supporting students’ academic, emotional, and behavioral growth. This position is onsite, providing direct impact in a vibrant educational community for the entire 2026-27 school year.
In this role, you’ll work 30-32.5 hours per week, collaborating closely with educators, administrators, and parents. Your expertise will help in assessing student needs, planning effective interventions, and fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment. Bilingual (Spanish) fluency is essential, enabling you to communicate effectively and provide culturally responsive care across any grade level or caseload.
Qualifications & Experience
- Valid Connecticut Educator Certification required
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
- Experience with comprehensive psychological assessments, IEP processes, and counseling services
- Adaptable to a range of age groups and diverse caseloads
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological and educational assessments to identify strengths and areas of need
- Develop intervention plans and counseling strategies for students
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to special education eligibility decisions
- Provide crisis intervention and consult with staff, families, and external agencies as needed
- Support a safe, inclusive, and positive school culture
