School Psychologist - Fairport, NY

This contract role is set for the 2026-2027 school year, beginning with orientation in late August and running through June 24. Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Psychology
- NYS Certification as a School Psychologist (required)
- Strong foundation in childhood development and diagnostic assessment
- Expertise in interpreting assessment results and reporting findings
- Thorough knowledge of learning processes and evidence-based instructional interventions
- Familiarity with RTI (Response to Intervention) and MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports), including implementation and evaluation of effectiveness
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students K-12
- Collaborate on the development and monitoring of individualized learning and behavioral plans
- Advise school staff and families on effective instructional and behavioral strategies
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute insight to support student achievement
- Track and assess effectiveness of interventions using RTI and MTSS frameworks
