Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s or specialist-level degree in School Psychology
- Valid state certification or license as a school psychologist
- Comprehensive knowledge of assessment, counseling, and intervention techniques for children and adolescents
- Experience conducting and interpreting psycho-educational evaluations
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral interventions
- Skilled at communicating findings to multidisciplinary teams and families
- Strong organizational and documentation abilities
- Compassion, cultural sensitivity, and dedication to student well-being
Responsibilities:
- Administer psychological and educational evaluations to identify students’ strengths and needs
- Participate in IEP, eligibility, and intervention meetings as a vital team member
- Provide individual and group counseling to students as needed
- Consult with educators and parents to develop effective support strategies
- Contribute to school-wide initiatives fostering positive behavior and social-emotional learning
- Maintain detailed records and reports in compliance with regulations
- Stay informed of best practices and current developments in school psychology
