Embark on a rewarding contract assignment supporting K-12 students as a School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. Qualifications:
- Current, active Maryland School Psychologist License (required)
- Previous experience working as a School Psychologist in K-12 educational settings
- Strong rapport-building and communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Expertise in assessment, intervention planning, and implementation of IEPs
- Ability to work effectively onsite within a multidisciplinary team
- Familiarity with educational law and compliance
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess students to determine eligibility for special education services
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct counseling, crisis intervention, and behavior support to students
- Analyze academic and behavioral data to support student success
- Attend and contribute to meetings, progress reviews, and parent consultations
- Maintain accurate documentation adhering to district and state policies
