School Psychologist | Flat Rock, Michigan

School Psychologists are needed for the 2026-2027 academic year across three school sites, working closely with students, families, and staff. This contract position offers a dynamic, travel-based opportunity, inviting you to provide essential psychological services within a vibrant educational community.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan School Psychologist license (must be verifiable through the state website; screenshot required at submission)
- Experience working with K-12 students, preferably in a school setting
- Strong assessment, consultation, and intervention skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs, behavior plans, and support strategies
- Flexibility and adaptability to serve diverse student populations across multiple campus locations
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments for students in need of services
- Interpret evaluation results and provide detailed recommendations to educational teams and families
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to design effective interventions and supports
- Offer crisis intervention, counseling, and preventative mental health education as appropriate
- Serve as a resource for staff development and student support programming
- Maintain timely, accurate records in accordance with state and district requirements
This is an onsite-only position, spanning 37.5 hours per week during the entire school year (August 12, 2026 – June 2, 2027). You'll have the chance to rotate between three welcoming school locations, providing valuable continuity of care.
