School Psychologist
Flint, MI
Join a dedicated school district in the Flint, MI area as a School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time, onsite opportunity offers the chance to support K-12 students through psychological assessments, special education evaluations, and collaborative intervention planning. Work alongside educators, families, and support staff to help students with mild to moderate needs achieve academic, social, and emotional success.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master's, Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Valid Michigan School Psychologist Certification or Preliminary School Psychologist Certification required
- Official university transcripts required prior to district submission
- Previous school psychology or related agency experience preferred
- Knowledge of special education eligibility, IEP processes, and state and federal regulations
- Strong assessment, consultation, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, including cognitive, academic, adaptive behavior, and social-emotional assessments
- Assist in determining eligibility for special education services and support educational planning
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, parents, and support staff to address student needs
- Support early identification and intervention efforts for students experiencing academic, behavioral, or emotional challenges
- Communicate assessment findings and recommendations in a clear and supportive manner
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, professional development, and district initiatives
- Ensure compliance with special education policies and procedures across assigned school buildings
Assignment Details:
- Pay rate: $45-$55 hourly
- School Year: August 17, 2026 – June 11, 2027
- Schedule: 35 Hours Per Week
- Student Population: K-12
- Caseload: Approximately 60 Students
- Disabilities: Mild to Moderate
- Work Setting: Onsite Only
