Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master's or higher degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Valid TX School Psychologist credential or eligibility for licensure
- Experience with student evaluations, behavioral assessments, and individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, students, and families
- Ability to administer and interpret standardized tests and write comprehensive psychoeducational reports
- Familiarity with multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and response to intervention (RTI) frameworks
What You'll Be Doing:
- Conducting comprehensive evaluations to assess students’ cognitive, academic, and social-emotional needs
- Participating actively in multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs and 504 plans
- Supporting teachers and staff with strategies for intervention, classroom management, and student engagement
- Providing crisis intervention and counseling services as needed
- Assisting with the development of positive behavior support plans
- Maintaining accurate and confidential records in line with state and federal regulations
