Required Qualifications:
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology
- Active Virginia School Psychologist license or relevant credential
- Prior experience working in a school setting is highly valued
- Proficiency conducting assessments, facilitating IEPs, and supporting eligibility determinations
- Excellent written communication for reports and documentation
- Skilled in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations
- Conduct assessments for special education eligibility across grade levels
- Analyze and interpret assessment findings, producing thorough, actionable written reports
- Participate in IEP, eligibility, and parent meetings, offering professional recommendations
- Work alongside teachers, special educators, and administrators to support student achievement
- Assist with the development, implementation, and review of behavior intervention plans
- Ensure all records, timelines, and documentation remain compliant with regulations
