Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or related field
- Experience conducting evaluations, creating intervention plans, and providing counseling in a school setting
- Familiarity with IEP processes and special education services
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and academic assessments for students referred for evaluation
- Develop and help implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide consultation to teachers and staff on academic, behavioral, and social-emotional supports
- Offer counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with local and federal requirements
- Participate in student support meetings, parent conferences, and school initiatives
