Qualifications & Required Experience
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology
- Active Virginia School Psychologist license/credential
- Previous school-based experience is preferred
- Strong background with psychoeducational evaluations, IEPs, and eligibility meetings
- Exceptional written communication and collaboration abilities
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct initial and re-evaluation psychoeducational assessments
- Complete assessments to determine special education eligibility
- Analyze testing results, prepare thorough written reports
- Participate in eligibility meetings, IEP development, and parent conferences
- Consult and collaborate with general and special education teams, as well as administrators
- Support development and implementation of behavior intervention plans
- Ensure compliance through accurate documentation and timely submissions
