Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a closely related field
- Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Familiarity with K-12 student populations and a variety of educational settings
- Strong skills in assessment, counseling, consultation, and behavior intervention
- Proficient in conducting psychoeducational evaluations and interpreting results
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive student assessments for academic, social, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Provide direct individual and group counseling to support student well-being
- Develop, implement, and monitor intervention plans and behavior strategies
- Consult with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
- Assist in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver crisis intervention and participate in student support teams as needed
- Maintain detailed, compliant records and contribute to school-wide initiatives
