Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid certification or eligibility for certification as a School Psychologist in Florida
  • School-based experience preferred (K-12)
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
  • Ability to build relationships with students, families, and faculty
  • Knowledge of current best practices in MTSS/RTI, IEP process, and legal guidelines
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychological assessments for initial and reevaluation processes
  • Offer direct counseling and interventions to support students’ academic and emotional needs
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including IEP and eligibility discussions
  • Consult with educators and families to develop and implement effective interventions
  • Guide response to intervention (RTI) efforts and positive behavioral supports
  • Maintain accurate records and compliance with all federal and state requirements
