Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid certification or eligibility for certification as a School Psychologist in Florida
- School-based experience preferred (K-12)
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Ability to build relationships with students, families, and faculty
- Knowledge of current best practices in MTSS/RTI, IEP process, and legal guidelines
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological assessments for initial and reevaluation processes
- Offer direct counseling and interventions to support students’ academic and emotional needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including IEP and eligibility discussions
- Consult with educators and families to develop and implement effective interventions
- Guide response to intervention (RTI) efforts and positive behavioral supports
- Maintain accurate records and compliance with all federal and state requirements
