Make a difference supporting students’ academic and personal growth by working with a welcoming PreK-8 student population as a school psychologist on a contract assignment in southwest Arizona. This full-time, onsite role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with faculty, staff, and families to promote positive learning environments and student success. Your expertise in school psychology will allow you to deliver impactful services and assessments to a diverse caseload (to be determined), ensuring all students reach their full potential during the full academic year.
Qualifications:
- Hold a valid AZ Educator Certificate
- Possess an active IVP Fingerprint Card
- Master’s or higher in School Psychology (or related field)
- Demonstrate experience or training working with PreK-8 populations
- Strong communication and consultation skills
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with students, staff, and families
- Comfortable providing services exclusively onsite
Role responsibilities:
- Conduct cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments
- Participate in eligibility and multidisciplinary meetings
- Provide crisis intervention and consultation as needed
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans
- Deliver counseling and intervention services to support student development
- Serve as a resource for faculty on behavioral interventions and strategies
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with regulations
