Key Qualifications:
- Current Texas School Psychologist license (required)
- Experience performing student evaluations, re-evaluations, and psychoeducational assessments
- Ability to manage varying caseloads across multiple grade levels (K-12)
- Bilingual skills are a plus, but not mandatory
- Previous experience working in schools highly preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and consultation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations, re-evaluations, and behavioral assessments in compliance with state and local regulations
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop effective intervention strategies
- Support students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth through specialized assessments and recommendations
- Provide guidance on behavioral intervention plans and appropriate educational accommodations
- Maintain accurate records and documentation consistent with district policies
